10 days in France: Itinerary Ideas
So, you’ve got 10 days in France, huh? EXCELLENT! Let’s get started on planning a fun trip for you. What I’m going to do is give you several three-day itineraries for France, which you can mix and match with as many days in Paris as you wish – or if you’re returning to France after multiple trips, why not skip the City of Light altogether, and experience some of the amazing things this country has to offer?
10 days in France: Itinerary Ideas
French Riviera
The French Riviera is hopping in the summer, and warm enough in the winter to head home with a sun-kissed face and arms. It’s a wonderful counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of Paris.

Loire Valley
Easily the most romantic spot in France outside Paris, the Loire Valley has delicious wines, stunning castles, and plenty of places where you can literally stop and smell the roses.

Southwest France
Want to truly get away from it all, and impress your friends back home with a full list of hidden gems you discovered while in France? Then head to the Southwest for a bit of history, maybe some camping, and hey, how about surfing?

Foodie Tour
Longtime readers of WhyGo France know that when it comes to traveling to France just for the food, you’ve come to the right place. Check out my ideas below, and also make sure to check out my guides on eating in France and drinking in France.

Mediterranean Coast
While I do loves me some French Riviera, it’s only half of the stunning southern coast of France. The other half is shared by the Languedoc region, which goes right on over to the Spanish border – and similar to the Southwest, still remains a secret to far too many travelers. Get here before everyone finds out!

Brittany
Brittany is one of those places that once you visit, you feel like it’s yours for life. Whether you go for its fascinating history, its almost mystical islands or its rugged coastline, time spent in Brittany is never, ever time wasted. It almost feels like a vacation within a vacation.

Provence
What is there left to say about Provence that hasn’t already been written, photographed and documented by enchanted travelers throughout the centuries? There’s not an inch of it that’s not the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen. And let’s not even go into the food, the wine, the lavender fields… yeah. Definitely try to make this one happen.
