Cheap Flights to Toulouse

Toulouse, known as the Pink City because of its distinctive brickwork, is a large, fun, cosmopolitan city in Southwest France. And with airplane manufacturers Airbus and ATR using the Toulouse Blagnac Airport as a testing facility, you can be sure to find a well-maintained airport with easy access not only to the city of Toulouse, but to other locations in France as well. We’ll get to that in a second, but first let’s talk about cheap flights to Toulouse.
Once again, just like Marseille, Nice and Lyon, the only way you can get to Toulouse from the other side of the Atlantic is via Air Transat, which departs from Montréal-Trudeau airport in Canada. If you can hop a cheap flight there, then you can arrive directly in Toulouse. But with so many low-cost airlines flying to Toulouse from within Europe, you have your choice of cheap trans-Atlantic flights with which you can connect to a budget flight to Toulouse.
As for the major players in the budget airline industry, EasyJet is the one that goes to Toulouse – from London-Gatwick, Bristol, Madrid, Rome and even Paris (Orly) and Lyon within France. You’ll strike out on Ryanair. British Airways flies from London-Heathrow, which can be good for trans-Atlantic connecting flights; but bmibaby from Manchester is much, much cheaper if it’s not included in your overall ticket. Air France has several flights from within France as well as Corsica, Milan and Rome, but they’re operated by subsidiaries Brit Air, Régional and CCM Airlines respectively.
Once you arrive at Toulouse Blagnac Airport, it’s only four miles to the city center via shuttle buses that leave from Hall C every 20 minutes, and stop at both metro lines and the train station as well. Easy!
One last note – if you are looking to go to Andorra, they don’t have an airport. You fly into Toulouse and there are two shuttle buses a day that will take you over the border into this teensy-weensy duty-free country. But, what’s your hurry? There’s plenty to do, see and eat in Toulouse, so stay a while!
